As part of the larger project of building the waterfront home shown at the left in the aerial photo above, a dilapidated lakeside boathouse that came with the property had to be dealt with. But if we had torn it down, we would have been unable to build a new structure to replace it under Shoreline Regulations then and now in force- so we built the new one around it and then removed the old one from inside. As you can see, the nice new waterfront pavilion is a great deal better.
